Shower & Steam Enclosure Survey

The measurement that decides whether a frameless panel lands clean or comes back as a remake.

  • Curb slope, wall bow and out-of-plumb recorded per jamb
  • Hinge, clamp and header hardware confirmed against your catalogue
  • Notch, hole and cutout positions dimensioned from finished surfaces

Architectural Glass & Mirror Survey

Storefront, railing infill, wall mirror and back-painted panels measured against as-built conditions.

  • Template-grade field dimensions for non-rectangular panels
  • Thickness, edgework and tempering requirements noted on the sheet
  • Site access, elevator and hoist constraints flagged before fabrication

FD-03

Fabrication-Ready File Delivery

A survey nobody can cut from is not a survey. You get files your shop opens and runs.

  • DXF per panel, layer-named to your shop convention
  • Dimensioned PDF with tolerances and orientation callouts
  • Photo set keyed to each panel ID

Job sequence

  1. Scope in

    Panel count, glass type, hardware line, address. Drawings optional.

  2. Access & COI

    Building paperwork issued and tenant window confirmed.

  3. Field survey

    Laser dimensions, plumb and level readings, condition photos.

  4. Files out

    DXF + dimensioned PDF to your fabrication desk in 24–48 hours.

Questions fabricators ask

Do you measure for frameless shower enclosures?

Yes, and it is the bulk of what we do. Curb slope, wall plumb and out-of-square are recorded per jamb, which is where most remakes come from.

Will you measure to our hardware line?

Send the catalogue or part numbers and the survey is dimensioned to that hardware — hinge offsets, clamp positions, header cuts and notch locations included.

Do you take responsibility for the dimensions?

We stand behind the field dimensions we record. Fabrication tolerance and hardware selection stay on your side, and the split is written into the survey sheet so nothing is ambiguous.

Can you template non-rectangular or notched panels?

Yes. Angled returns, notched panels and radius work are captured as field dimensions and delivered as DXF geometry rather than a written description.

Do you install?

No. We measure and document only, which is exactly why fabricators are comfortable sending us to their customers.
